I registered for the Fred marathon in Worcester due to 2 reasons. First, it was no problems with numbers. Second, I did not need to take a vacation time for Monday. About 200 hundreds runners participated in the race, but only about 30 ran the whole marathon. The distance was divided into 8 loops by 5K. This sounds boring but with so few participants and spectators it was the only chance not to feel lonely. At least, some pass you or you can pass other runners. It was plenty of drinks, every 2.5K. Organizers were supportive and friendly. By the end of the 7th loop I was invited to finish the race. I saw that some runners followed the invitation. I continued and finish at 4:36, 12 min better than in Los Angeles and 12 min worse than in Washington DC.
